Become an instructor

Teach for us. We only put certified people in front of a crew.

Synergy trains miners across the country, online and on site. When we need another instructor, it is always someone who already holds an MSHA Blue Card, has spent years in front of mining crews, and will sign an NDA before seeing a single page of our material.

MSHA training and compliance services.

What we require

Four things, and none of them are negotiable.

Requirement 1

A current MSHA Blue Card

You must hold and maintain your own MSHA instructor certification, and be approved to teach the parts you would be assigned. We check the card before the first class.

Requirement 2

A signed non-disclosure agreement

Course materials, client mine plans, training records and every site you visit stay confidential. The NDA is signed before any material is released to you.

Requirement 3

Five years teaching MSHA

At least five years of classroom or mine-site instruction under Part 46, Part 48, or both. We ask for the courses, the years and the operators you taught them for.

Requirement 4

Travel, weekends and live online

Classes run where the mines are, which means travel, overnight stays, weekend scheduling and live online sessions. Tell us the states you can cover and how much notice you need.

Instructor application

Tell us where you have taught and what you are certified to teach. Everything you send stays confidential.

Applications are reviewed by an instructor, not a queue.
