MSHA training for Kingman and Mohave County operations
Part 46 and Part 48 training for aggregate pits, decorative rock operations, and contractors along the Arizona-Nevada line.
Areas we serve
Training and field services where your crews work.
Mohave County operations sit a long way from the nearest classroom, and most crews here are small enough that losing one person to a travel day shows on the schedule. We train them live online on Arizona time, or on site at the pit when the whole crew needs the hours at once.
Northwest Arizona mining is mostly sand, gravel, and crushed stone pits serving construction along the Colorado River corridor, along with decorative rock, gypsum, and the gold and silver exploration work that comes and goes in the district. Surface sand, gravel, and stone operations are Part 46, where new miners need 24 hours, experienced miners need 8, and every miner needs an 8-hour annual refresher. Metal and non-Part 46 mineral operations fall under Part 48.
We come to you
Every service on this page travels. We teach classes in your shop, trailer, or pit parking lot in Kingman, write plans from your own records, and perform evaluations on your equipment. Travel is quoted up front, with no per-mile surprise on the invoice.
Live instructor-led, never computer-based
When you train online, an MSHA instructor teaches the class live on camera in real time. There are no self-paced modules, recorded videos, or slideshow quizzes, and miners can ask questions and get answers the same day.
Operations we train in Kingman
- Sand and gravel pits and crushing spreads
- Crushed stone and aggregate quarries
- Decorative rock and landscape material operations
- Gypsum and industrial mineral pits
- Contract hauling, drilling, and site crews
How classes run
We train crews across Mohave and Coconino counties, including Bullhead City, Lake Havasu City, Golden Valley, Dolan Springs, and Peach Springs, plus operations just across the river in Nevada and California. Live online classes run on Arizona time, which stays on standard time year round.
Live online classes are taught in real time by an MSHA instructor, never as a self-paced computer-based course, and require a computer, webcam, and valid photo ID. Every miner leaves with a certificate and a 5000-23 form filed to your training records.
