Areas we serve

Training and field services where your crews work.

The Mojave Desert holds some of the largest mineral operations in the country, and the nearest classroom can be hours from the pit gate. We deliver training live online on Pacific time, and we schedule on-site dates when a full crew needs the hours together.

Boron area mining runs on borate and other industrial mineral operations, gold and silver projects, and the sand, gravel, and crushed stone pits that supply desert construction and rail work. Operations mining commodities outside the Part 46 list, including borates and metals, fall under Part 48, with 24 hours for a new miner, 8 hours for an experienced miner, and an 8-hour annual refresher for every miner. Surface sand, gravel, and stone pits are Part 46.

We come to you

Every service on this page travels. We teach classes in your shop, trailer, or pit parking lot in Boron, write plans from your own records, and perform evaluations on your equipment. Travel is quoted up front, with no per-mile surprise on the invoice.

Live instructor-led, never computer-based

When you train online, an MSHA instructor teaches the class live on camera in real time. There are no self-paced modules, recorded videos, or slideshow quizzes, and miners can ask questions and get answers the same day.

How classes run

We train crews across Kern, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles counties, including Mojave, California City, Barstow, Tehachapi, Ridgecrest, and Victorville. Online classes run on Pacific time, and underground classes are scheduled on site.

Live online classes are taught in real time by an MSHA instructor, never as a self-paced computer-based course, and require a computer, webcam, and valid photo ID. Every miner leaves with a certificate and a 5000-23 form filed to your training records.
